The days are getting shorter, the temperature is dropping, and it’s all too easy to skip a workout as those cold winter nights draw in! But NOW is the time to get ahead of the game. As the old saying goes “Athletes are built in the winter” and the Bull Doza Fight Wear team are taking that one step further to help you train like the Champion you really are with these 3 easy steps.
Step 1. Set your Goal.
What is it you want to achieve between now and spring? Set your goal and make sure to keep it in the forefront of you mind. Vision boards, daily reminders on you phone or even a simple sticky note on the fridge, whatever works to keep you focused on where you want to be!
Step 2. Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail.
This is by far to most critical step. Once you’ve decided what you end goal is, spend some time really thinking about how you are going to achieve your end goal. If your goal is to build core strength for example, what are you going to do to achieve that? The structure of this is entirely up to you. If you’re a seasoned prepper then a excel sheet of your weekly workouts for the next few months wouldn’t be a stretch. If you prefer a more relaxed approach then go with the flow, as long as you feel prepared then it’s all good!
Step 3. Rome Wasn’t Built in Day.
Something to ALWAYS keep in mind is to be realistic. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it will take time to see real consistent results, so don’t get dishearten in the early stages with the graft is hard and reward is slim. It’s okay to have off days and to skip a workout if your body is telling you to take a break. Small improvement will quickly add up to get you to your end goal!
